Santee Music Academy is thrilled to announce Marco as our November Student of the Month!
Marco has been taking lessons at SMA for the last two years and has expanded his range tremendously!
In his drum lessons with Mr. Brandon he likes to explore songs by different bands like The Beatles, Green Day, and Kiss!
We are so excited to see what Marco has in store for everyone when he takes the stage at our Winter Recital in January 2026!

Musical Ladder System®Achievements
The Santee Music Academy and The San Diego School of Music are the only music schools in San Diego that give their students the opportunity to earn special colored wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests with the Musical ladder System®. which has been awarded multiple patients and is being used by schools nationwide.
Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with the smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool "Musical Ladder System®" wristbands that they can show off to their friends.
Congratulations to Jeremy, Jessica, and Johannah H. for receiving their 5 Year Prima Trophies!
These three students have been endlessly dedicated to their piano, guitar, and violin lessons and have progressed incredibly throughout the years.
It is such a privilege for us to see them grow and achieve their musical goals. Way to go guys!
