The Santee Music Academy is the number one beginners music lessons program in East County, San Diego.

What will I learn from Intro To Music classes at the Academy?

Each student has the chance to play on four instruments; keyboard, violin, drums & guitar and is the perfect option for students to discover their favorite instrument to get started on.

Do I need an instrument?

No, you do not need an instrument at home to take lessons. We provide all instruments in class for students to explore and learn on.

How qualified are The Academy's music instructors?

Our faculty have received their musical education from such prestigious institutions such as New York University, San Diego State, the Berklee College of Musica, as well as nationally recognized performance and pedagogy programs. Many have toured the US and Europe, and bring over 25 years of professional performance and teaching experience to your lessons.

Overview

Whether you aspire to play Bach or Alicia Keys, The Santee Music Academy's dedicated music instructors will help you become the musician you want to be. Our faculty will introduce you to four of the most common instruments which allows you to learn a bit about each one and different styles of music, perfect for a beginning student not quite sure what instrument they should choose.

All of the Academy lessons are held Mon-Fri in the afternoon and evenings as well as Saturday mornings and afternoons. Contact us for our current class schedule.

Our Intro To Music lessons are available on the weekends at the following times.

Saturday from 10am - 10:45am

Saturday from 1pm - 1:45pm

Sunday from 11am - 11:45am

Sunday from 4pm - 4:45pm

A one-time registration fee is $40

Lesson & Office Hours

Mon-Fri 10am - 8pm

Saturday 9am - 5pm

Sunday 11am - 4pm
